WEDDING
1. Marriage License
The license can be obtained in person at:
1200 North Telegraph Rd. (Oakland County Clerk)

Required Documents and Information:
- Full name of both partners.
- Passport or Driver’s License for both partners.
- Phone number of each partner.
- Full names of the parents of both partners.
- Place of birth of both partners and their parents.
- License validity: 30 days.
- Wedding date.
- Indicate if either partner has been previously married.
2. Ceremony Requirements
-Two witnesses (must be 18 years or older).
-Full names of the witnesses.
-Witnesses' identification (must bring them on the wedding day).
-Wedding date.
-Indicate if rings will be exchanged.
-Indicate if vows will be in English or Spanish

Important Notes:
During tax season:
Weddings are only held on Saturdays after 4:00.
- Office wedding cost: $350.00
- At-home wedding cost: $350.00 + travel expenses.
- If the partners do not have a Social Security Number (SSN) and live outside of Oakland County, they can present their passports at the Pontiac Court and register their home country address.​​
